Santa Must Really Love My Christmas Cookies!

You know what's fabulous about being a baker? If you make awesome cookies for Santa, he'll bring you awesome presents!

Thanks, Santa (AKA mom, dad, boyfriend, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc...)! This was truly the best Christmas ever! <3 <3 <3

Wow! What a haul! You must have been a very good girl.

DARN! We left Newport News in April. Now stationed in Bamberg, Germany. I will have to get my dad to be on the lookout for those pjs. No Wal-Mart in Germany :( My good friends own The SugarTree Bakery. They told me about your blog. Thank you for keeping me inspired and amused from so far away from home.

That's awesome that you know the people from SugarTree. I tried to apply there earlier this year, but they said they don't really hire people very often. Oh well, it was worth a shot! :D

Glad to hear that you had a wonderful Christmas. You must have been a VERY good girl! Isn't it funny when you hear about it being taboo to give a woman "kitchen" appliances and gadgets but I LOVE 'em and put them on my wish list. You got some really cool stuff. How can't wait to see what you think about that measuring spoon!

Thanks for the offer of help with Swiss meringue! I'll be emailing ya soon!

Happy 2009!

Cool santa also must like pictures, cause I got some new gadgets for my camera. :) Looks like fun baking items. I actually got around to making cookies for Christmas, and dusted off my kitchen aid mixer. Hope you have a Fabulous NYE, and 2009.

Oooh, you got great stuff! I got a bunch of cookbooks, a handheld mandoline, and a mortar and pestle.

Woah...someone was a good girl this year! I'm jealous of all of your new stuff. I got that cookie press as well, but I wish I would have gotten that awesome orange KA mixer. You'll be having some fun for sure!

I got both of those calendars too! The Betty Crocker ones are cute, but I think you will see the same room for improvement in their directions that I did!

What a fabulous haul! I'd love to hear how you like the new cookie press - after seeing the delicious cookies you made for Christmas I plan on adding a press to my registry this spring!

OMG... I AM SOOOOOO JEALOUS!!! I can't even TELL you how much Kitchen Aid stuff costs here in France... Let's just say an Atisan mixer is pretty close to $700!!!!!! I love the orange stuff and the bowls.. Esp. the little phone charm... What's the marque of that on? Take care and Happy New Year... Glad to see you back!! Leesa

Leesa, the charm is on my LG Chocolate phone :) And DANG that stuff IS expensive!!! How do you cope???

Wow. I thought my Christmas was baking-centric with a convection toaster oven, mixer, apron, and silicone muffin cups. But my loved ones have obviously been shown up by yours ;-)
